Introduction

Welcome to TippyTrip. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TippyTrip website, mobile application, corporate travel platform, business travel booking services, travel management tools, expense management features, approval workflows, reporting tools, customer support services, and all other products or services offered under the name TippyTrip. By accessing, registering on, creating an account, booking travel, inviting employees, approving bookings, submitting expenses, using corporate travel tools, or otherwise using TippyTrip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not access or use the TippyTrip platform. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between TippyTrip and every user of the platform, including corporate clients, administrators, employees, travellers, approvers, finance teams, and any other person using the services on behalf of a business entity. Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

1. Nature of the Platform

TippyTrip is a corporate travel and travel management platform designed to help businesses manage official travel bookings, employee travel requests, travel approvals, travel expenses, invoices, and related travel support services. The platform may allow companies to book flights, hotels, cabs, buses, trains, holiday packages, group travel, business trips, and other travel-related services depending on availability and service offerings.

TippyTrip acts as a travel facilitator and technology platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, TippyTrip does not itself operate airlines, hotels, cabs, buses, trains, restaurants, insurance companies, visa offices, or other travel service providers. Travel services are generally provided by independent third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, transport operators, aggregators, travel partners, insurance providers, and other service providers. The final contract for the actual travel service is between the user and the concerned service provider.

TippyTrip may assist users with searching, comparing, booking, modifying, cancelling, managing, and tracking travel services. However, TippyTrip does not guarantee the performance, availability, quality, safety, timing, conduct, pricing, or service standards of third-party travel service providers.

3. Eligibility to Use the Platform

By using TippyTrip, you confirm that you are legally competent to enter into a binding agreement and that you are at least eighteen years of age. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company, business, institution, or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms and Conditions.

Corporate clients are responsible for ensuring that only authorized employees, administrators, approvers, finance users, and travellers are allowed to access the platform. The corporate client shall be responsible for all bookings, approvals, payment obligations, expenses, policy settings, and user actions carried out through its account.

TippyTrip may refuse registration, suspend access, or terminate services if it believes that a user is not eligible, has provided false information, has misused the platform, has breached these Terms, or may cause legal, financial, security, or reputational risk to TippyTrip or its service providers.

4. Corporate Account Registration

A corporate client may be required to create a business account on TippyTrip by providing company details, business address, authorized contact person details, GST information, billing information, employee details, travel policy preferences, payment details, and any other information required for account setup. The corporate client agrees to provide true, accurate, complete, and updated information at all times.

The corporate client may appoint one or more administrators to manage the corporate account. Administrators may be able to invite employees, assign roles, set booking limits, define travel policies, approve or reject bookings, access reports, view invoices, and manage other account settings. The corporate client is responsible for ensuring that administrators act within the authority granted to them.

TippyTrip shall not be responsible for losses arising from incorrect company information, unauthorized internal access, wrong role assignment, outdated employee records, incorrect billing details, or misuse of administrator rights by any person authorized by the corporate client.

5. User Account and Login Security

Users may be required to create login credentials or access the platform through email, mobile number, OTP, password, single sign-on, or other authentication methods. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details, passwords, OTPs, devices, and account access.

Any activity carried out through a user account may be treated as authorized activity unless TippyTrip is notified of unauthorized access and has reasonable time to act. Users must immediately inform TippyTrip if they suspect unauthorized access, account misuse, password compromise, security breach, or suspicious activity.

TippyTrip may restrict, suspend, reset, or block account access if it suspects unauthorized use, fraud, misuse, breach of security, or violation of these Terms. Such action may be taken to protect the user, the corporate client, TippyTrip, or third-party service providers.

6. Role of Corporate Administrators

Corporate administrators are responsible for managing the corporate account and ensuring that employees and travellers use TippyTrip in accordance with company policies and applicable law. Administrators may set travel budgets, define eligible travel classes, select approval workflows, manage departments, add or remove users, access travel reports, and control booking permissions.

Administrators are also responsible for updating employee records, removing access for employees who leave the organization, correcting billing information, reviewing travel policy settings, and ensuring that the corporate account is used only for official or permitted purposes.

TippyTrip may provide tools to support corporate administrators, but it is not responsible for the internal decisions, approvals, denials, reimbursements, policy exceptions, or employee communications made by the corporate client or its administrators.

7. Employee and Traveller Responsibilities

Employees and travellers using TippyTrip must use the platform only for genuine travel purposes authorized by their organization. They must provide accurate traveller names, identification details, contact information, travel dates, destination details, document information, special requests, and any other information required for booking.

Travellers are responsible for carrying valid government identification, travel documents, tickets, visas, permits, health certificates, vaccination certificates, and any other documents required by airlines, hotels, immigration authorities, security agencies, or travel service providers. TippyTrip shall not be responsible if a traveller is denied boarding, check-in, entry, accommodation, transport, or any service due to missing, invalid, expired, incorrect, or incomplete documents.

Travellers must comply with the rules of airlines, hotels, transport operators, government authorities, airport authorities, immigration authorities, and all applicable laws. Any penalty, loss, cancellation, refusal of service, or additional cost caused by traveller misconduct, document issues, late arrival, non-compliance, or incorrect information shall be borne by the user or corporate client.

8. Travel Policy Configuration

TippyTrip may allow corporate clients to configure travel policies, approval workflows, budget limits, preferred suppliers, booking restrictions, class-of-travel rules, hotel category limits, location-based limits, advance booking requirements, cancellation rules, and expense submission guidelines. These tools are provided to help businesses control travel spending and improve compliance.

The corporate client is solely responsible for designing, updating, approving, and enforcing its internal travel policy. TippyTrip does not provide legal, tax, HR, employment, or financial advice regarding travel policies. Any policy configured on the platform should be reviewed by the corporate client according to its internal requirements.

Where a booking is made outside policy limits, TippyTrip may display alerts, require approval, or restrict booking depending on the configuration selected by the corporate client. However, TippyTrip does not guarantee that every policy violation, exception, or internal misuse will be detected or prevented.

9. Booking Authorization

When a user submits a booking request on TippyTrip, the user authorizes TippyTrip to facilitate the travel reservation on behalf of the user or corporate client. This may include sharing traveller details with service providers, checking availability, confirming prices, collecting payment, issuing tickets or vouchers, communicating booking status, and arranging related services.

A booking is confirmed only when TippyTrip or the concerned service provider issues a valid confirmation, ticket, voucher, booking ID, or other confirmation document. Display of availability or price before confirmation does not guarantee that the booking will be completed at the same price or on the same terms.

TippyTrip may reject, cancel, or hold a booking request where payment is not received, approval is pending, information is incomplete, service availability changes, fraud is suspected, pricing errors occur, or the service provider refuses or fails to confirm the booking.

10. Flights

Flight bookings made through TippyTrip are subject to the terms and conditions of the concerned airline, including rules relating to fares, baggage allowance, check-in, boarding, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, no-show, seat selection, meal preference, travel documents, and passenger conduct. Airlines may change flight schedules, cancel flights, deny boarding, revise baggage rules, or impose additional charges according to their policies and applicable law.

TippyTrip acts only as a facilitator for flight bookings and shall not be responsible for airline delays, cancellations, missed connections, overbooking, denial of boarding, baggage loss, baggage damage, schedule changes, airport restrictions, technical issues, weather conditions, strikes, security issues, or airline operational decisions.

Any refund, cancellation charge, rescheduling fee, convenience fee, airline penalty, fare difference, or service fee shall be governed by the airline's rules and TippyTrip's applicable policies.

11. Hotels and Accommodation

Hotel bookings made through TippyTrip are subject to the terms and conditions of the concerned hotel or accommodation provider. These may include check-in and check-out timings, cancellation rules, no-show policy, identity requirements, guest restrictions, meal inclusions, room category rules, extra bed charges, early check-in charges, late check-out charges, security deposits, and local regulations.

TippyTrip does not own, operate, control, or manage hotels listed on the platform unless expressly stated otherwise. Hotel images, facilities, ratings, descriptions, availability, and prices may be provided by hotels, aggregators, or third-party suppliers. TippyTrip does not guarantee that hotel descriptions, facilities, or images will always be accurate or updated.

Any issue relating to room quality, cleanliness, service standards, staff conduct, amenities, food, safety, overbooking, refusal of check-in, or hotel policy shall primarily be the responsibility of the hotel. TippyTrip may assist with support where possible but shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of the hotel.

12. Cabs, Transfers, and Ground Transport

Cab, airport transfer, local transport, bus, or other ground transport bookings made through TippyTrip are subject to the terms of the relevant transport provider. Users must ensure that pickup location, drop location, reporting time, passenger details, luggage details, and route information are accurate.

TippyTrip shall not be responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather conditions, driver availability, vehicle breakdown, route restrictions, local strikes, law enforcement restrictions, or user delay. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, route changes, extra kilometres, tolls, parking, night charges, state taxes, driver allowance, or other provider-specific charges.

Users must behave appropriately with drivers and transport staff. Any damage to vehicles, misconduct, illegal activity, or violation of transport rules may result in cancellation, penalties, or further action by the service provider or authorities.

13. Trains, Buses, and Other Travel Services

Where TippyTrip facilitates train, bus, ferry, charter, insurance, visa, forex, holiday package, group travel, event travel, or any other travel-related service, such service shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the concerned service provider, government authority, operator, or supplier. TippyTrip's role shall remain limited to facilitating the booking or service request unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Availability, timing, seat allocation, route, cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and service quality may be controlled by the concerned operator or authority. TippyTrip shall not be liable for changes, cancellations, delays, operational failures, refusal of service, or restrictions imposed by such third parties.

Users must review the applicable rules before confirming any booking and must ensure that they meet all eligibility, documentation, and compliance requirements for the selected service.

14. Pricing, Availability, and Fare Changes

Prices, fares, taxes, surcharges, convenience fees, service fees, cancellation charges, refund amounts, and availability displayed on TippyTrip may change at any time before confirmation. Travel inventory is dynamic and may be updated by airlines, hotels, transport providers, aggregators, or other service providers.

A fare or room shown as available during search may not remain available at the time of payment or confirmation. If prices change before booking confirmation, the user may be required to pay the revised amount or choose an alternative option. TippyTrip shall not be liable for fare changes, seat unavailability, sold-out rooms, price errors, or supplier updates beyond its control.

In case of an obvious pricing error, technical error, supplier error, or system error, TippyTrip may cancel or modify the booking, refund the amount paid, or request additional payment where applicable.

15. Payments and Billing

Payments for bookings or services may be made through payment gateways, corporate credit arrangements, prepaid wallets, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, bank transfer, or other modes allowed by TippyTrip. The corporate client is responsible for ensuring timely payment of all booking amounts, service charges, convenience fees, taxes, subscription charges, credit bills, penalties, cancellation charges, and other amounts payable.

Where TippyTrip provides credit facilities, post-paid billing, corporate invoicing, or payment terms, such facilities shall be subject to approval, credit limits, separate commercial terms, and payment timelines. TippyTrip may suspend bookings, restrict account access, charge interest, revoke credit, or take recovery action if dues remain unpaid.

All payments may be subject to transaction charges, bank charges, payment gateway charges, taxes, or other applicable fees. TippyTrip is not responsible for payment failures, bank delays, gateway errors, chargebacks, incorrect payment details, or unauthorized payment activity not caused by TippyTrip.

16. GST Invoices and Tax Compliance

TippyTrip may facilitate invoices, GST invoices, credit notes, debit notes, payment receipts, and booking documents depending on the nature of the service and information provided by the corporate client. The corporate client is responsible for providing accurate GSTIN, legal name, billing address, place of supply, and other tax details required for invoicing.

TippyTrip shall not be responsible for denial of input tax credit, invoice mismatch, incorrect GST details, delay in claiming tax benefit, or tax dispute caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the corporate client or user. Service providers such as airlines and hotels may issue their own invoices, and their invoicing practices may be governed by applicable tax laws and supplier policies.

The corporate client is responsible for its own tax compliance, accounting treatment, reimbursement policies, and statutory reporting.

17. Cancellations, Amendments, and Refunds

Cancellation, amendment, rescheduling, name correction, date change, route change, room modification, or any other change to a booking shall be subject to the rules of the concerned service provider and TippyTrip's applicable policies. Not all bookings may be cancellable, refundable, or changeable.

Cancellation charges, amendment fees, supplier penalties, fare differences, service fees, payment gateway charges, and taxes may apply. Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed after receiving confirmation and funds from the relevant service provider, unless TippyTrip has expressly agreed otherwise.

Refund timelines may vary depending on the airline, hotel, transport provider, bank, payment gateway, or other supplier. TippyTrip shall not be liable for delays caused by service providers, banks, payment gateways, or incorrect user payment information.

18. No-Show and Missed Services

If a traveller fails to report on time, misses a flight, does not check in at a hotel, fails to board transport, or otherwise does not avail a booked service, the booking may be treated as a no-show. No-show bookings may be non-refundable or subject to heavy penalties depending on the service provider's policy.

TippyTrip shall not be responsible for missed flights, missed check-ins, missed pickups, missed connections, or unused services caused by late arrival, incorrect documents, traffic, security checks, immigration issues, personal reasons, or failure to follow service provider instructions.

Users must carefully check reporting time, terminal details, check-in requirements, boarding rules, hotel policies, and pickup instructions before travel.

19. Expense Management and Reimbursements

TippyTrip may provide travel expense tracking, claim submission, approval workflows, reimbursement support, invoice storage, reporting, and related tools for corporate clients. These tools are intended to help businesses manage travel expenses and internal processes.

The corporate client is solely responsible for approving or rejecting employee expenses, deciding reimbursement eligibility, verifying supporting documents, maintaining accounting records, and complying with tax and employment laws. TippyTrip does not guarantee that every expense entry, receipt, invoice, claim, or reimbursement request is accurate, valid, compliant, or eligible under the corporate client's internal policy.

Any dispute between an employee and corporate client relating to travel reimbursement, expense approval, policy violation, salary deduction, or internal settlement shall be resolved between them. TippyTrip shall not be liable for such internal employment or reimbursement disputes.

20. Travel Approvals and Policy Exceptions

TippyTrip may allow corporate clients to configure approval workflows for travel bookings and expenses. Approvals may be required from managers, department heads, finance teams, administrators, or other authorized users depending on the company's settings.

TippyTrip is not responsible for delays, denials, errors, or misuse in the approval process caused by the corporate client's internal workflow, approver unavailability, incorrect role assignment, or delayed action by administrators. If a booking is not confirmed due to pending approval, price changes or availability loss may occur.

Policy exceptions, emergency bookings, out-of-policy bookings, and special approvals are the responsibility of the corporate client. TippyTrip may record or display such exceptions but does not decide whether they are appropriate for the corporate client's internal purposes.

21. User Information and Traveller Data

Users and corporate clients must provide accurate information for all travellers, including full name, age, gender where required, contact details, employee ID, identification details, passport details, visa details, loyalty numbers, travel preferences, special assistance requirements, and other information required for booking.

Incorrect traveller information may result in booking failure, denial of boarding, denied check-in, cancellation, penalties, or additional charges. TippyTrip shall not be responsible for losses caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or mismatched traveller details provided by the user or corporate client.

User information may be shared with airlines, hotels, transport operators, payment gateways, insurance providers, visa partners, government authorities, and other relevant third parties as necessary to process bookings and provide services.

22. Prohibited Use

Users shall not use TippyTrip to:

  • Make fake bookings, submit false traveller information, or misuse corporate accounts.
  • Create unauthorized accounts, use stolen payment instruments, or manipulate fares.
  • Interfere with platform security, scrape data, upload harmful code, or misuse promotional offers.
  • Book travel for illegal activities, impersonate another person, or violate travel restrictions.
  • Misuse company travel budgets, submit fake expenses, upload forged documents, or create false invoices.
  • Engage in any conduct that may expose TippyTrip, the corporate client, or service providers to risk.

TippyTrip may cancel bookings, restrict accounts, suspend users, report activity to authorities, or take legal action in case of prohibited use.

23. Content and Platform Use

All content available on TippyTrip, including website design, mobile application design, text, graphics, logos, icons, software, dashboards, reports, databases, travel tools, booking flows, and other materials, is owned or licensed by TippyTrip. Any content uploaded by users, including company information, traveller details, expense documents, receipts, invoices, comments, reviews, or feedback, must be lawful, accurate, and not infringe the rights of any third party.

24. Third-Party Service Providers

All travel services booked through TippyTrip may be provided by third-party service providers. These providers may have their own terms, conditions, policies, restrictions, cancellation rules, refund rules, safety standards, and service limitations. Users are responsible for reviewing and complying with such terms.

TippyTrip is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, failures, negligence, misconduct, cancellations, overbooking, denial of service, schedule changes, safety issues, quality issues, or policy decisions of third-party service providers.

Where a service provider cancels or modifies a service, TippyTrip may assist with communication or alternatives where possible, but the final decision and liability remain with the concerned service provider.

25. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of TippyTrip is also governed by the Privacy Policy of TippyTrip. By using the platform, users and corporate clients consent to the collection, storage, processing, sharing, transfer, and protection of personal data, business data, traveller data, payment data, booking data, expense data, and communication data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Corporate clients are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from employees, travellers, guests, and other individuals whose data is provided to TippyTrip. Corporate clients must ensure that such data is accurate, lawful, and provided for legitimate business travel purposes.

TippyTrip may process user data to provide bookings, customer support, reporting, invoicing, travel policy tools, expense management, compliance support, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TippyTrip, its owners, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, partners, representatives, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, business, financial, reputational, data-related, or other loss arising from use of or inability to use the platform.

In any case, TippyTrip's total liability, if legally established, shall not exceed the amount of service fee actually received by TippyTrip from the concerned user or corporate client for the specific booking or service giving rise to the claim.

28. Indemnity

The user and corporate client agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TippyTrip, its owners, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, partners, representatives, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, expenses, proceedings, or actions arising out of use of the platform, breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, misuse of services, incorrect traveller information, non-payment, employee misuse, fraudulent bookings, fake expense claims, infringement of third-party rights, or disputes with service providers.

This indemnity shall also apply to claims arising from corporate travel policy decisions, employee reimbursement disputes, tax disputes, GST errors caused by incorrect information, unauthorized bookings, or misuse of corporate accounts.

29. Suspension and Termination

TippyTrip may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate access to the platform without prior notice if it believes that a user or corporate client has violated these Terms, provided false information, misused the platform, failed to make payment, exceeded credit terms, engaged in fraud, violated service provider rules, caused security risk, or acted in a manner harmful to TippyTrip or others.

Suspension may include blocking bookings, disabling users, restricting administrator access, stopping credit facilities, cancelling pending requests, withholding support, or terminating paid services. TippyTrip shall not be liable for loss arising from suspension or termination carried out in accordance with these Terms.

Termination shall not affect payment obligations, cancellation charges, refund processes, indemnity obligations, legal claims, or any rights and liabilities that arose before termination.
